按彼論云：由善、不善、無記作意引發先業，能牽諸行令住不絕，所謂外分共不共業之所生起。

According to that treatise: "Through wholesome, unwholesome, and indeterminate attention, previous karma is stimulated, which can draw forth all saṃskāras so that they abide without interruption—namely, the external division arisen from shared and unshared karma."
