即《維摩經》梵天王云：我見此界如自在宮，即其事也。又上界天而來此界，必變淨器為自依處，以此麁界不持彼故。

This is precisely the incident in the Vimalakīrti-sūtra where the Brahmā king says: "I see this world as like the palace of [Mahe]śvara." Furthermore, when devas of a higher realm come to this realm, they must transform a pure receptacle to serve as their own support, because this coarse realm cannot support them.
