眼、耳、身三身識相分既唯初禪，故眼、耳二相非上繫。

Since the nimitta-bhāga of the body-consciousness among the three—eye, ear, and body—is exclusively of the first dhyāna, the two nimitta-bhāga of eye and ear are not bound to the higher [planes].
