答：假有名種，自有約義。依實說假，非五識緣，是分別心，義別說故。影像色等雖無礙故，得名假色，然說種生即名為實，故無過失。

Answer: Conventional designations have various kinds, and each has its own contextual meaning. Describing something as conventional on the basis of the real is not what is cognized by the five consciousnesses; because of the conceptualizing mind, it is explained differently in terms of meaning. Although the image form (nimitta-bhāga rūpa) and the like are called conventional form because they lack obstruction, they are still called real insofar as they are said to be produced from real seeds; hence there is no fault.
