為經部師有計觸假，論為斯立自性有也。故《俱舍論》第十敘經部義而有兩師，有說三和即名為觸，如契經言如是三法聚集和合說名為觸。有說別法與心相應，三和合所生說名為觸，今破前師。

Because Sautrāntika masters hypothesize that contact is conventional, the Treatise establishes for this reason that it exists with intrinsic nature. Therefore, the Abhidharmakośa-bhāṣya, fascicle 10, recounts the Sautrāntika doctrine as having two masters: One says that the harmonious combination of the three is itself called contact, as the sūtra states, "The assembly and harmonious combination of these three dharmas is called contact." Another says that a distinct dharma associated with the mind, produced by the harmonious combination of the three, is called contact. Now [the Treatise] refutes the former master.
