不從於他但據於自，可名自性。今既似他，何名自性？即應說名似因之受，而不可言自性受也。

Only when relying on oneself and not following another can it be called 'own nature'. Now since it resembles another, how could it be called 'own nature'? It should rather be called 'sensation resembling the cause', and one cannot speak of 'sensation of its own nature'.
