按彼論云：「如何一一心、心所法，從二種子相續而生，不見芽等從種生法？有如是事，可藉多緣生於一果，無從二種有一果生。」

According to that treatise: "How could each citta and caitasika dharma arise in succession from two seeds? One does not see that sprouts and so forth arise from seeds in such a way. Such a thing may occur when relying on multiple conditions to produce a single fruit, but never does a single fruit arise from two seeds."
