答：有同異。勝軍色、心皆有三相，上座不爾，同義可悉。有義：上座、勝軍有差別者，其上座計心、心所法生滅二時，時二體一，將滅名滅。勝軍所說依《瑜伽》等，已滅名滅。若色及心皆有三相，三相雖別而體同一。

Answer: There are similarities and differences. In Jayasena's view, form and mind both have three characteristics, whereas the Sthavira does not hold this; the points of agreement can be understood. There is an opinion: the difference between the Sthavira and Jayasena is that the Sthavira posits two periods, arising and ceasing, for citta and caitasika dharmas: the periods are two while the substance is one, and about to cease is called ceasing. What Jayasena explains relies on the Yogācārabhūmi and so forth, where having already ceased is called ceasing. If both form and mind have three characteristics, although the three characteristics differ, their substance is the same.
