答：色法遲鈍，實有三時。經依決定但云生滅，以其住相有無不定，故不言也。

Answer: Form dharmas are sluggish and dull, and actually possess three periods. The sūtra, relying on what is definite, only mentions arising and ceasing; because the characteristic of abiding is indeterminate in existence and nonexistence, it does not mention it.
