第二師答，以下合有第一師難。難云前七未全捨，不名捨賴耶。八地種未除，是以賴耶在。疏不言者，以第一師於意如是，故略不具。

This is the second master's reply; below there should be the first master's objection. The objection states: On the previous seven [bhūmis] it is not yet completely abandoned, so it is not termed abandoning the ālaya. On the eighth bhūmi the seeds have not been eliminated, so the ālaya remains. That the Commentary does not state this is because such was the first master's thought, and hence it is abbreviated and not fully presented.
