釋曰：彼論廣明阿賴耶識至窮生死蘊六識之名為所知依體，所以一一皆言為性。疏意牒彼後三之名以為問也。餘文同來，以上三名前已列竟，不在問限。

Explanation: That treatise broadly clarifies the names of the six consciousnesses from ālaya-vijñāna to the aggregate exhausting saṃsāra as the substance of the basis of what is to be known; therefore, each and every one is said to be "having ... as its nature." The Commentary's intention is to cite the latter three names to raise the question. The rest of the text comes along with it; since the earlier three names had already been listed above, they are not within the scope of the question.
