答：唯能引自果。所言「唯」者，若於此時能生自果，即於爾時說名種子，種與有種並無始故。

Answer: It is only able to induce its own fruit. The word 'only' means: if at this time it is able to produce its own fruit, precisely at that time it is termed a seed, for the seed and the possessor of seed have both existed from beginningless time.
