答：以道無此遍事觀故。又修不遍，如六種性入見道時，修當自性不能修餘。故《俱舍》云：「道則不然，種性多故。」

Answer: Because the path lacks this comprehensive functional observation. Moreover, cultivation is not universal: just as when the six spiritual lineages enter the path of seeing, they cultivate only their own respective lineage and cannot cultivate the others. Thus the Kośa says: 'The path is not like that, because its spiritual lineages are many.'
