「此」者，即此斷、常位名。「彼」者，彼彼至轉依位及第八號。

'This' refers to the designations of the stages of discontinuation and permanence. 'That' refers to each respective stage up to the stage of the transformation of the basis, as well as the name of the eighth [consciousness].
