詳曰：此乃深防迷因明者，恐見前因有識言故，輒為不定。又真實理，八有此依，因而立之。理實前因，無不定過，因中說云轉識攝故。

Evaluation: This is a profound safeguard against those confused about logic (hetuvidyā), fearing that seeing the word 'consciousness' in the previous reason, they would rashly consider it inconclusive. Furthermore, according to real truth, the eighth [consciousness] has this support, and therefore it is established. In ultimate truth, the previous reason has no fallacy of inconclusiveness, because within the reason it states, 'because it is subsumed under evolving consciousnesses'.
