釋曰：有為之法皆依識生，故名為依。涅槃無為非識生故，故名無依。
Explanation: Conditioned dharmas all arise dependent on consciousness, and therefore they are called 'dependent' (āśrita). Nirvāṇa, being unconditioned, is not produced from consciousness, and therefore it is said to have no support.
