答：言兩極成，意簡隨一，敵雖說大，非佛語收。立者不許，故不得言兩俱極成，非佛語攝。敵者亦許兩俱極成，非佛語中不攝大乘。彼既許之，何成隨一？可熟思之。

Answer: The words "mutually established by both" are intended to exclude what is unaccepted by one party. Although the opponent says the Mahāyāna is subsumed under "not the word of the Buddha," the proponent does not concede this; therefore one cannot say it is mutually established by both as being subsumed under "not the word of the Buddha." The opponent also concedes that among what is mutually established by both as "not the word of the Buddha," Mahāyāna is not subsumed. Since they already concede this, how does it become unaccepted by one party? One should reflect on this thoroughly.
