3.751

但據異熟一期分限相續說也，或同正量長時四相，如命根等。初生名生，終歿名滅，中間更無生滅相也。

This is spoken only based on the delimited continuity of maturation in a single lifetime; or it is like the four long-duration characteristics of the Saṃmatīya, such as the life-faculty and so forth: initial arising is called arising, the final end is called perishing, and in between there are no further characteristics of arising and perishing.
