答：不堅總望不相續義，間斷易𡙸偏約五位、三性等明，由對第八堅住之因故別明也。

Answer: 'Not stable' refers generally to the sense of non-continuity; 'interruption' and 'easily shed' are explained particularly with reference to the five states and the three moral natures. Because it is contrasted with the eighth [consciousness]'s reason of abiding stably, it is explained separately.
