釋曰：前後識別，能所熏異，名為異品。又謂隣次前後相熏不說一切，云非一切。

Exposition: The difference between the prior and posterior consciousnesses—the distinction between the perfumer and the perfumed—is called 'differing items' (vipakṣa). Moreover, holding that contiguous prior and posterior states perfume each other, but not speaking of everything, is why it says 'not for everything'.
