Examined closely: this opinion is not without merit. However, in contrast to a state where mind is present, clear, and superior, mindlessness is termed 'dim and inferior'; 'inferior' means lacking power and not generating active states. Just as calling sunset 'darkness', what principle does this violate? If one says that it is only in the subsequent moment that one becomes mindless, the example would lack the probandum. Since the text says 'at the time of extreme fainting', the word 'extreme' applies to the preceding, which makes the text concise and skillful, with no need for further additions.
