此唯識文望第一釋理可然也。言無餘者釋可然理，即此論云：謂生、死時顯無轉識，而有疏本云宗無餘，「宗」字誤也。合是「言」字。

This text of the Vijñaptimātra Treatise, when viewed against the first explanation, is logically plausible. The words 'there is no remainder' explain the reason for its plausibility, which is that this Treatise states: 'at the times of birth and death, it is shown that there is no evolving consciousness.' However, some manuscripts of the Commentary read 'the thesis has no remainder' (zong wu yu); the character 'thesis' (zong) is an error and should be the character 'statement' (yan).
