答：生得因修，思等加行，何得同也？又寬狹別，生得善心通於三界，思等不遍。

Answer: Naturally acquired goodness is due to prior cultivation, whereas volition and the like are preliminary applications; how could they be identical? Furthermore, their scopes differ: the naturally acquired wholesome mind extends throughout the three realms, whereas volition and the like are not pervasive.
