答：望護法宗即為不可，餘師無違，如下自釋。時無斷者，無性釋云：「由異熟性時無間斷，由此亦是遮是意識性。」

Answer: From the perspective of Dharmapāla's school, this is inadmissible; for other masters, there is no contradiction, as will be explained below. Regarding 'uninterrupted in time', Asabhāva explains: 'Because its mature-retribution nature is uninterrupted in time, this also excludes it from being of the nature of mental consciousness.'
