現行熏種雖是種依，體既是現，故不得名為種子也。若言因緣，理即可攝。有疏本云：種望種子，「種」字誤也。何以知者？

Although the actual perfuming seeds is the basis of seeds, since its entity is actual, it cannot be called a seed. If one speaks of cause-as-condition, in principle it can be included. Some manuscripts of the Commentary read 'seeds in relation to seeds'; the character 'seed' is an error. How is this known?
