《瑜伽》七十六是此證也。故彼論云：「阿陀那識為依止、為建立故，六識身轉。此中有識，眼及色為緣生眼識。與眼識俱隨行，同時、同境有分別意識轉，餘耳等識亦爾。若於爾時一眼識轉，即於此時唯有一分別意識與眼識同所行轉。若於爾時二三四五諸識身轉，即於此時唯有分別意識與五識身同所行轉。」

Yogācārabhūmi Fascicle 76 is the proof for this. Thus that treatise states: 'Taking the ādāna consciousness as support and foundation, the six consciousness-bodies function. Here, there are consciousnesses: with eye and form as conditions, eye consciousness arises. Co-occurring and following along with the eye consciousness, at the same time and with the same object, conceptual mental consciousness functions; the remaining ear and other consciousnesses are likewise. If at that time a single eye consciousness functions, then at that time there is only a single conceptual mental consciousness functioning with the same object of engagement as the eye consciousness. If at that time two, three, four, or five consciousness-bodies function, then at that time there is only conceptual mental consciousness functioning with the same object of engagement as the five consciousness-bodies.'
