答：心等因思希望無失，如是心等與受等俱，起領納等皆不違理，心等皆容起多行故，然自相行正行非餘，故依正行心等無雜。

Answer: There is no fault in citta and so forth having hope due to volition; likewise, when citta and so forth are conjoined with feeling and so forth, giving rise to experiencing and so forth does not contradict principle, because citta and so forth are all capable of giving rise to multiple activities; however, the activity of its own characteristic is its primary activity, not others, and so on the basis of primary activity, citta and so forth are not confused.
