4.29

有義：但應說依六識有無，七、八二識既非共有，今對他宗陳共許義，故不應言隨七、八也。

An opinion holds: One should only speak of relying on the presence or absence of the six consciousnesses; since the seventh and eighth consciousnesses are not shared [by other schools], now in setting forth the commonly accepted meaning against other traditions, one should not speak of following the seventh and eighth.
