按《瑜伽》云：「問：如經言此四無色蘊當言和合，非不和合。不可說言如是諸法可分可折，令其差別。問：何故彼法異相成就，而說和合無差別耶？答：眾多和合於所緣境受用領解方圓滿故。若不爾者，隨闕一種於所為事應不圓滿。」

The Yogācārabhūmi states: "Question: As the sūtra says, these four formless aggregates should be said to be in harmony, not out of harmony. It cannot be said that such dharmas can be divided or split so as to make them distinct. Question: Why is it that, when those dharmas are established with distinct characteristics, they are said to be in harmony without distinction? Answer: Because only when many are in harmony are the enjoyment, apprehension, and understanding of the objective realm fully perfected. Were it not so, if any single one were lacking, the activity performed would not be perfected."
