釋：緣色等法別相之智名為各別，煩惱既非別相智斷，故知經云達遍知者是總相智。

Explanation: The knowledge that takes specific characteristics of form and other dharmas as objects is called 'separate'; since afflictions are not severed by knowledge of specific characteristics, one knows that what the sūtra calls 'attaining and fully knowing' refers to knowledge of general characteristics.
