答：現無漏法正破有漏故，不得以無漏持漏；無漏法種既非能治，故因本識持無漏種。

Answer: Manifest anāsrava dharmas directly counteract the sāsrava; therefore, one cannot use the anāsrava to maintain the sāsrava. Since seeds of anāsrava dharmas are not the counteractive agent itself, the fundamental consciousness in the causal stage maintains the anāsrava seeds.
