4.390

三乘無學、不退菩薩此四決定不緣藏識，所以除之。四外餘人有緣、不緣當須分別。分別可知，有漏、無漏緣、不緣故。

The aśaikṣas of the three vehicles and non-retrogressing bodhisattvas—these four definitely do not take the storehouse consciousness as an object, which is why they are excluded. For persons other than these four, whether they take it as an object or not must be differentiated. The differentiation can be understood: it is because of taking or not taking it as an object in defiled (sāsrava) and undefiled (anāsrava) states.
