4.415

論：功德即是菩提分法等諸功德，熏修長養成就解脫說名修殖。平等性智雖無分別，由佛、菩薩智增上力，如如意珠，令異身中功德生長成就解脫。言究竟者，能得三乘般涅槃故。如是智名平等法性，遠離遍計所執性故。

The Treatise says: Merit refers to the virtues such as the factors of awakening; perfuming, cultivating, nurturing, and accomplishing liberation is called 'cultivating and planting'. Although the knowledge of equality has no conceptual discrimination, by the sovereign power of the wisdom of buddhas and bodhisattvas, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it causes virtues to be generated, grow, and accomplish liberation in different bodies. Regarding 'consummate': it is because it can attain the parinirvāṇa of the three vehicles. Such wisdom is called the nature of things as equality, because it is far removed from the imagined nature.
