4.440

按五十八云：「貪染令心卑下，憍慢令心高舉，是故貪、慢更互相違。」撿兩本論皆五十八，疏云五十五，撿文者誤。

According to fascicle 58: 'Craving and defilement make the mind humble and lowly, while arrogance and conceit make the mind lofty; therefore craving and conceit are mutually contradictory.' Checking two editions of the treatise, both are fascicle 58; the Commentary says 55, which was an error by the collator.
