答：今隨他宗，下依自義，以小乘者出定聞聲。又疏作量，有義破云：疏說此因依悶絕等有不定者，此義不然。立宗若云應一切定皆名無心定，悶絕等位非無心定，可說前因有不定過，宗法之中既無定字故無不定。

Answer: Here it follows the other school; below it relies on our own doctrine, since the Hīnayāna holds that one hears sound upon emerging from absorption. Furthermore, regarding the syllogism formulated in the Commentary, some argue in refutation: 'The Commentary says that because this reason applies to fainting and the like, it has an inconclusive fallacy; this view is incorrect. If the thesis were formulated as "All absorptions must be called absorptions without mind", then since states like fainting are not absorptions without mind, one could say the preceding reason has an inconclusive fallacy. But since the word "absorption" does not appear within the subject of the thesis, there is no inconclusive fallacy.'
