詳曰：賴耶之名而既未捨，許緣何失？若要起執方名賴耶，既不執時，名何不捨？由此理論，許緣無咎。

I examine this and say: Since the name ālaya has not yet been abandoned, what fault is there in allowing it to be cognised? If grasping must arise for it to be named ālaya, when it does not grasp, why is the name not abandoned? By this reasoning, allowing it to be cognised is without fault.
