論云：「此於五識無容說有，是處無有能對治故。若處有能治，此處有所治，非五識中有彼能治，於此見道不生起故。」

The Treatise states: 'This cannot possibly be said to exist in the five consciousnesses, because there is no counteractive antidote (pratipakṣa) in that locus. Where there is an antidote, there is that which is to be counteracted (vipakṣa). That antidote is not present in the five consciousnesses, because the path of seeing (darśanamārga) does not arise there.'
