4.620

有義：彈疏釋云：若是宗法，何故乃云必有眼等？今解：謂如至俱有依皆同法喻，即以此喻所簡別法為其宗法。

One opinion criticizes the Commentary's explanation, saying: 'If it were the subject-property (pakṣadharmatā), why would it say "must have the eye and so forth"? The present interpretation is: from "namely, just as" up to "co-existent support" are all examples of similar property (sādharmya-dṛṣṭānta); it is precisely the dharma differentiated by this example that is the property of the subject.'
