釋曰：持自無體，令五識不行，令意識轉，故假名法。非言為法，即有實體。

The explanation says: Maintaining its own lack of intrinsic entity, causing the five consciousnesses not to operate, and causing mental consciousness to turn, it is therefore metaphorically designated as a dharma. It is not that because it is called a dharma, it possesses a real intrinsic entity.
