論：此中顯示發起意化，成所作智相應意業，能發身語。或此意業由智發起，或智相分現似彼故，是故說名發起意業。為說有情諸行對治，此所說法名、句、字身以為自性，是故顯示名、句、字身，令起愛樂發生對治。

Treatise: Here is revealed the mental transformation of initiation. Mental action associated with the wisdom of action can initiate body and speech. Or, because this mental action is initiated by wisdom, or because the objective aspect of wisdom manifests resembling it, it is therefore called initiating mental action. In order to teach antidotes for the various conducts of sentient beings, the dharma taught takes the sets of names, phrases, and phonemes as its intrinsic nature; therefore, he manifests the sets of names, phrases, and phonemes to give rise to delight and produce antidotes.
