According to its fourth fascicle, it states: 1. Unwholesome by intrinsic nature, referring to all afflictions bound to the desire realm—both those that do not arise spontaneously and those that arise spontaneously—that can initiate evil deeds. 2. Unwholesome by association, referring to the dharmas associated with these root and secondary afflictions. 3. Unwholesome by sequence, referring to their latent impressions. 4. Unwholesome by origination, referring to the bodily and vocal actions produced by them. 5. Unwholesome in the ultimate sense, referring to all saṃsāric transmigration. 6. Unwholesome by birth, which arises spontaneously upon birth due to conditioning, without requiring deliberate reflection. 7. Unwholesome by expedient means, which arises only upon associating with bad friends and reflecting. 8. Unwholesome by present offering, referring to making offerings by killing in orientation towards taking refuge in a certain deity, or building shrines and initiating acts of offering through wrong views. 9. Unwholesome by harm, referring to producing various wrong bodily, vocal, and mental actions everywhere. 10. Unwholesome by inducement, in which performing evil threefold action induces undesirable maturation. 11. Unwholesome as object of remedy, referring to dharmas that are countered by various remedies. 12. Unwholesome by obstruction, referring to what can obstruct all wholesome dharmas, such as frequent assemblies of crowds and the like.
