總別之言傳有二釋：一云：二二至五，名之為總；一一別起，說名為別。二云：起一至四，名之為別，合起五種，說名為總。

As for the words 'collective' and 'separate', tradition transmits two interpretations. The first says: from two, two up to five is called 'collective'; arising one by one separately is called 'separate'. The second says: arising from one to four is called 'separate', and all five arising together is called 'collective'.
