答：釋具《燈》、《疏》。有義：准下俱起，初師必同時，推尋事理，未決定時，信不生故，由此信等，必欲、解俱。若依後師，亦許異時。設於事理，未決定時，信亦生故。

Answer: The explanations are fully given in the Liaoyi deng and the Commentary. A different opinion states: Following the co-arising below, for the first master they must be simultaneous; when inquiring into facts and principles, before one has determined them, faith does not arise, and therefore such faith must be simultaneous with desire and adhimokṣa. If following the later master, he also allows them to be at different times, because even when one has not determined facts and principles, faith may also arise.
