有義：問：寂靜住者但可名性，如何名業？以性顯業前後無，故《集論》中但云：「不容雜染所依為業。」故此論主應是錯也。

An opinion states: Question: Abiding in calm can only be called essence; how can it be called activity? Since demonstrating activity through essence is nowhere found earlier or later, and the Abhidharmasamuccaya merely says: 'having the basis of not admitting defilement as its activity', the author of this treatise must be mistaken.
