5.248

按彼論：解七覺支中捨覺支云，捨是不染污體，永除貪、憂，不染污位，為自性故。有《疏》本云：《對法》第十八道支中說者誤也。

According to that treatise, in explaining the factor of enlightenment of equanimity among the seven factors of enlightenment, it says: equanimity has an undefiled essence, forever eliminating craving and sorrow, taking the undefiled stage as its essential nature. A version of the Commentary saying: 'It is stated among the factors of the path in the eighteenth fascicle of the Abhidharmasamuccaya-bhāṣya' is mistaken.
