答：如《疏》具明。有義：於無漏位容九俱起，輕安有漏，慚、愧起一，無第二故。有漏定心容八俱起，除捨、不逸、慚、愧隨一，散善容七，前八之中，除輕安故。

Answer: As clearly explained in the Commentary. One opinion holds: in the uncontaminated state, nine may arise concomitantly, because pliancy is contaminated, and between moral shame and moral dread only one arises without a second. In a contaminated concentrated mind, eight may arise concomitantly, excluding equanimity, non-heedlessness, and one of either moral shame or moral dread. In scattered wholesome [states], seven may arise, because pliancy is excluded from the previous eight.
