答：相應四義，闕事等也。不害、無瞋無別體事，捨、不放逸，對勤、三根亦准此知。望餘信等，可名相應，用不離體，不害、捨等，亦具四義。

Answer: Among the four meanings of association, they lack sameness of entity. Non-harming and non-ill-will have no separate substantial entity; equanimity and non-heedlessness, in relation to zeal and the three roots, should also be understood by analogy with this. Viewed in relation to the remaining faith and so forth, they can be called associated; function is not separate from substance, so non-harming, equanimity, and the rest also possess the four meanings.
