此釋意云：文雖總言五有輕安，意談三識。輕安在色，鼻、舌唯欲，故但三識。言總意別，故不違前。

The meaning of this explanation is: Although the text generally says that the five have pliancy, its intention speaks of the three consciousnesses. Pliancy exists in the form realm, while nose and tongue are only in the desire realm, so it is only three consciousnesses. The words are general but the meaning is specific; thus it does not contradict what came before.
