即《瑜伽論》八十七云：云何當有前後際俱行者，謂如有一作是思惟：我曾有誰？誰當有我？今此有情來何所從？於此沒已去何所至？又《毘婆沙》百九十九：若依現在起分別見或名前際，或名後際，是未來前過去後故，或未來因，過去果故。

That is, Yogācārabhūmi, fascicle 87, says: 'What is it to proceed along both the past and future limits? It means someone reflects thus: Who did I used to be? Who will I become? From where did this sentient being come? Having passed away here, where will they go?' Also, Mahāvibhāṣā, fascicle 199: 'If one generates conceptually constructed views relying on the present, they are either called the past limit or called the future limit, because [the present] is before the future and after the past, or because it is the cause of the future and the result of the past.'
