〈五十八〉中而有文說，但撿文者，而疎略故，致有斯斷。故彼論云：「即用如是薩迦耶見以為依止，於五趣蘊見我斷常，故邊執見亦迷於苦。」

There is a textual statement in Fascicle 58, but because the researcher was cursory, it led to this conclusion. That treatise states: 'Relying upon just such a view of individuality, one views the aggregates of the five destinies as a self that is annihilated or eternal; therefore, the extreme view also misconstrues suffering.'
